Students will read Toxic Empathy by Allie Beth Stuckey, Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris, The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, and The Shack by William P. Young. As they explore these works, students will analyze literary elements, evaluate themes and worldviews, develop persuasive and analytical writing, and participate in meaningful discussions that encourage them to think deeply about faith, culture, and their personal walk with Christ.
