  • Tandem Home Education is not a school; it is a homeschool co-op that works alongside families to achieve the common goal of Christian education. We hire teachers and aides to facilitate classes in subjects like History, Science, Language, Spanish, and The Art of Communication. This model differs from public schools, which are state-funded institutions.

  • At Tandem Home Education, we boldly stand as a Christian drop-off co-op, unapologetically rooted in our belief in the Bible. We uphold the conviction that every individual is created in God’s image, with a distinct purpose and divine plan for their life.

  • We're a Christian two-day drop-off co-op, dedicated to supporting families throughout their homeschooling journey.

  • Participating in the Tandem Home Education program offers invaluable support to you and your family. We handle curriculum procurement and provide two days of instruction each week. Additionally, members gain access to exclusive resources and events throughout the semester.

  • Yes, Tandem accepts ESA funds and is a ClassWallet vendor. This allows parents to use the ClassWallet site to pay us directly, eliminating the need to use personal funds and wait for time-consuming refunds from ClassWallet.

  • Tandem Home Education does not require families to sign a contract for a specific enrollment duration. However, when a family confirms enrollment and submits payment, they are committing to participate in the Tandem Home Education program for the upcoming semester and/or school year.

    Based upon that commitment, Tandem immediately begins:

    • Reserving classroom space

    • Finalizing teacher and aide staffing

    • Purchasing curriculum and classroom supplies

    • Planning class rosters

    • Preparing for the upcoming school year

    Because these commitments are made well before classes begin, the following policies apply.

    Annual Registration Fee: The Annual Registration Fee is non-refundable once paid.

    Curriculum & Supply Fees: Curriculum and Supply Fees become non-refundable once curriculum and supplies have been ordered or purchased on behalf of the student.

    Quarterly Tuition: Quarterly tuition reserves a student's place in the program. Once enrollment has been confirmed and Tandem has relied upon a family's commitment by reserving classroom space or making financial commitments on behalf of the student, tuition paid for the current semester is non-refundable. If a student withdraws after the semester begins, all tuition and fees paid for that semester are forfeited, and the family remains responsible for any remaining tuition due for that semester.

    Future Semester Charges: The Tandem school year consists of two semesters, with each semester containing two quarters.

    Families who withdraw in writing before the next semester begins will not be invoiced or charged for tuition or fees for that upcoming semester. This provision applies only to future tuition and fees that have not yet become due and does not provide for refunds of payments already made for the current semester.

    Any refund request will be reviewed in accordance with this policy.

  • Tandem Home Education operates as an all-inclusive group rather than an à la carte program. Therefore, we strongly recommend that your student attends for the full day. If, for any reason, your student cannot stay for the entire day, please note that there will be no prorated amount for membership fees associated with your enrollment.

  • Our co-op caters to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. We've organized the age groups as follows: K, 1, 2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12.

  • Tandem Home Education embraces the belief that everyone is uniquely gifted with different strengths and abilities. We hold firm to the notion that everyone is capable of learning, and our goal is to create an environment that sets each individual up for success.

  • While Tandem Home Education operates as a drop-off co-op where parents are not required to stay, they are always welcome to observe at any time. We simply ask that you communicate with the Campus Facilitator beforehand so that we can inform the teachers accordingly.

  • Cost breakdown for Tandem Home Education:

    1.     Annual Student Membership Fee: $100.00

    2.    Annual Curriculum/Supply Fees: $600.00 

    3. Class Quarterly Fees: $950.00

    Lab costs for high school students will vary by science course chosen for the year. Tandem will procure all necessary curriculum for the subjects we teach, along with teacher guides for at-home use. We do not mark up the cost of the curriculum; in fact, we extend any bulk discounts we receive to our members.

    Quarterly Payment Schedule: Payments are due on May 1st, August 1st, November 1st, and February 1st.

    Tandem will send invoices through the DreamClass member portal, where you can make secure payments via Stripe (similar to PayPal). Once your payment is complete, you’ll be able to download a receipt for your records or reimbursement purposes. We accept ESA debit cards, and as an approved ClassWallet vendor, Tandem also accepts Vendor Pay through ClassWallet.

  • The quarterly fees are due on May 1st, August 1st, November 1st, and February 1st. Tandem Home Education will provide invoices for you, and parents will also be able to generate invoices from our site. Additionally, we will be on a quarterly payment schedule, allowing families to budget throughout the year. This decision was made to align with ESA drop dates for funding.

  • Tandem Home Education is a neurotypical sensitive environment with the heart to make every student successful. We will allow students to be placed in the appropriate class for success and will work with parents if an aide or assistance is needed.
