Hannah Montano
Aide for 9th - 10th Grade

Hello! My name is Hannah, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Tandem as the aide for our 9th and 10th grade students!
I was homeschooled from 4th grade all the way through high school, so I can say from experience—homeschooling works! It gave me the freedom to grow in both academics and creativity, and I’m so thankful for the foundation it provided. After graduating, I attended Paradise Valley Community College and earned certificates in Audio Production and Sound Design. I love how God can use all of our gifts in unique ways, and it’s been exciting to see how He’s shaped my journey so far.
My leadership journey began back in junior high and high school when I served alongside my mom at Calvary PHX, helping with co-op classes and childcare. In college, I began volunteering at Hope City Church, where I’ve now been serving for four years. I run media and sound for the church and serve as a high school leader. It’s been such a joy to walk with students during these formative years, encouraging them in both faith and life.
I’m the oldest of three siblings—I'm 25, my sister (who also attends Tandem) is 17, and my youngest brother is 8. With such wide age gaps, I’ve learned how to connect with people at very different life stages. Being the oldest has shaped me into a kind of “big sister” figure, someone who’s always ready to listen, encourage, or share a little wisdom when it’s needed.
I’m so excited to step into this new role at Tandem and see what God has in store this year. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of a Christ-centered community where students are not only learning but growing into the people God created them to be. Let’s make it an amazing year!
