Hello there! My name is Jennifer Hopkinson, and I feel so blessed to be joining you all at Tandem this year!

I was born and raised in Southern California, and in 2021, God guided our family to move to Surprise, Arizona. I was homeschooled from 5th through 12th grade—and I was the only person in my graduating class! (I was homeschooled before it was popular—lol.) My parents led a homeschool group through our church during that time.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, for 24 years, and we’ve been blessed with four children. Our oldest, Rachel, is a junior at Grand Canyon University, majoring in Marine Biology. Our second daughter, Rebekah, graduated high school in 2024 and is currently studying Elementary Education. Our third daughter, Reanna, is a high school junior who absolutely loves kids—and volleyball! And our “baby,” Rylee, is our only boy! He’s really into football.

I’ve served in children’s ministry for most of my life and am currently the K–1st Area Lead at our church.

To say I’m excited to join the Tandem team is an understatement—I AM SO EXCITED! I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in this new year of learning. He knows the plans He has for us—and they are good plans. His plans are truly full of hope!
