Hi, I'm Jen, and I am excited to be part of the Tandem family as a member of the Teacher & Aide Support Team!

I am a certified elementary teacher with a Master's degree in Education and have had the privilege of teaching in both traditional classrooms and homeschooling environments. Homeschooling was an important part of our family's journey, and I loved having the opportunity to teach my own children before they transitioned into public school. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the unique joys and challenges homeschooling families experience.

My husband and I have been blessed with two wonderful adult children and one high school senior. Family is incredibly important to me, and some of my favorite moments are spent taking family vacations and enjoying game nights together. In my free time, I also enjoy a good glass of sweet tea.

I have a passion for encouraging teachers, supporting families, and helping create Christ-centered classrooms where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to grow both academically and in character. I am thankful to be part of the Tandem community and look forward to partnering with our teachers, aides, and families throughout the school year.
